Hello! I'm Alex. I'm an Enterprise Architect located in Portland, Oregon.

You can find my full credentials over on Linkedin, but I currently work for Pfizer as the Sr. Director, Connected Platforms Architecture.

I'm also the founder of Cthonic Studios LLC which is my TTRPG Publishing and TTRPG Software side project.

Before that I specialized in the full LAMP stack, with a particular eye towards optimizing the performance of PHP applications. I've also done a lot of work profiling the performance of Javascript applications.

Once I spent a good stint of time as a MySQL database administrator, and have done performance profiling and remediation at that level as well.

I've worked on a wide variety of projects, including doing work for Wizards of the Coast, THQ, working with SoundManager, writing some XMPP chat systems (using XEP-0045 MUC specifications), several Drupal 7 projects, maintenance on a Drupal 6 site, MediaWiki installs and other web technologies.

In my spare time, I enjoy table-top RolePlaying games, hacking around various hardware projects, learning languages, and my cats.
